So I got a new computer (A old sony vaio laptop, for free).
I really like this one with a Windows Vista or 7 theme on linux.

it is! on X11 i get it done with feh --bg-fill --no-fehbg --randomize ~/.wallpapers, and a bit more manually on Wayland + Niri:
walp=$(ls ~/.wallpapers | sort -R | head -n1) swaybg -m fill -i "~/.wallpapers/$walp"
