Anybody here have a recommendation on current MMOs with good community? I havn't followed recent releases.

I play Classic WoW (wotlk) currently, raiding on the Atiesh server. I also played Oldschool Runescape + EVE quite a lot although I'm not active on those games anymore.

I mostly prefer endgame content or player vs player, games with a leveling focus are fun but tend to lose their luster after the first couple of characters.

Been looking for similar. Played New World (good at first, then not so much). I still do enjoy GW 2, even if a little dated, still enjoyable also LOTR Online is pretty good to get into.

There's also SWTOR and ESO if you're into those types. Been hoping for a new one to be announced, but none seem to be coming up any time soon.

I played SWTOR and ESO and enjoyed the story for both of them (particularly the Sith classes), but the endgame didn't capture me for either.

I liked New World a lot before the rampant bug/exploit problems weighed it down. I wasn't aware that LOTR Online was still going, I'll take a look at it again, thanks!

Honestly only just started LOTR Online again recently, seems to be a fair size following behind it still and enjoyable. I was in a similar place with New World as I enjoyed it on release, but didn't stick with it as the bugs/exploits were introduced.

I'm very inclined to start playing wow classic after seeing some hardcore runs. Seems very relaxing.

I never played retail as I was a retarded kid that would rather play those shitty private servers with 1000x exp/drop buff, so it might be a fun experience.

this guy sets a really nice tone, and the music and ambient sounds just seem so cool. Not sure if I could do a full hardcore run though, having little prior experience.

I've only been playing Final Fantasy XIV. I'm not into it because it's a MMO, but because I'm basically a Final Fantasy stan. I'm a healer main but I can also tank and DPS, and I don't do much high-end raiding. You're more likely to find me helping newbies clear story content.

I played Runescape before Oldschool, and EVE Online for at least a decade. In recent years I haven't had the free time to invest in MMOs until recently when I got back into Runescape via Old School Runescape because it runs on my phone.
