THREAD'S FIRST CHALLENGE:
Easy: I like eggs. The man runs through the forest. Why are you here?
Medium: I want you to go there. He used to write every day. I've never seen a sloth.
Hard: I find the learning of synthetic languages incredibly tedious. The utility of cases is so easily replaced with prepositions and conjunctions.

i'm currently trying to learn spanish. i downloaded about 180 lessons of https://www.pimsleur.com/ courses, which are just audiobooks that teach languages in a conversational format. i like that method better than something like Duolingo because my brain is more accustomed to that way of learning. The first 30 lessons or so taught me a lot, but now they're starting to ween off the english speaking, so it's becoming harder and harder, and I'm having to listen to the lessons a couple times before I'm ready to move on to the next lesson.

Don't you use a grammar book? Also how will you remember the vocab and gender of the words do you write them down?
