You have to be nice to me.

I just watched Willy's Wonderland and loved it, despite it only having a 61% RT score. Imagine my surprise when I then find out that the excellent Prisoners of the Ghostland is also only 61% on RT.
Perhaps some sort of clerical error, or conspiracy?
Do I just have trash taste? Is anyone else here big on Nic Cage?

The time has come to prove you are the best. To crush your enemies, to win the Tournament.

I fuckin' love Nick Cage. I often hear people like my stepdad saying that his acting is wooden, but I couldn't disagree more. Nick Cage feels like he always puts his all into any role he plays, though that's mostly from the films I've personally seen. Face/Off is my favourite action film, if not my favourite film of all time, and part of what makes it such a memorable and enjoyable experience to me, no matter how many times i've seen it, is Nick Cage's incredible performance. As Sean Archer with Troy's face, there is a great feel to many of his scenes where you can tell he's actively pretending to be somebody he despises, and the internal struggle he shows externally. My only criticism of the film is there's not enough scenes before the faces swap, seeing Nicholas Cage as a ludicrously evil, hammy villain is amazing.
I don't know where Nick Cage's negative reputation came from. Perhaps it's the fact he hams it up too much a bit too often, but I can't see enthusiasm as a downside.

I like Nicholas Cage but didn't his career take bit of turn in late 2010s?
