There is a new hunger games movie, called The ballad of snakes and singing birds! Im super exited to see it!!

I'm pretty indifferent, I was meh about the other ones, so I'll be sitting this one out

I was never impressed by The Hunger Games. Even if the author wasn't basically imitating Koushun Takami's Battle Royale, I had aged out of the YA demographic years before the first book came out.

Basically the same reason I never got into Harry Potter, except that AFAIK Suzanne Collins isn't the sort of conservative woman who hates men and takes it out on trans women (aka a TERF).
