thread for users to post their daily art/doodles/whatever!

I was on the Yesterweb Forums last Friday and read through a thread about creating animated buttons. A member mentioned aseprite and how much they liked it. I gave it a shot and managed to make a retro-styled 88x31 button + a 240x60 banner for my site:

Since I'm not an artist, getting assets from elsewhere helped me a lot. The button has free pixel art from Admurin and the banner has a free png from pngwing.

So, these aren't purely mine, in the end. But, I still spent quite a bit of time on them and feel I remixed a bit. I'm happy with them, and that I didn't let my lack of drawing skills keep from creating.

heres a wip! its a page of silly sea creatures not in order: bimac, southern pygmy squid, chambered nautilus, coconut octopus, pacific purple sea urchin, glass squid, dumbo octopus, vampire squid amazing art evrybody btw !!

Those are some high quality cephalopods there!

I've been trying to practice digital coloring, but I haven't found a technique that feels natural to me. If anyone has digital painting tips, I'm all ears.
