to start a conversation, i wrote a blog post about 3 things people should stop doing now that server-side rendering is getting popular again, and spoke a little about how a lot of patterns that popped up when React and Vue and other frameworks got popular don't really work so much anymore.

i think a lot of people are still trying to apply concepts they learned over the past 6 years from React to new frameworks like Next and Remix, and the ideas don't translate very well. i wanted to be transparent and say i'm totally guilty of this, but this blog post highlights some things i learned while building the site
