this show got me into the GOT universe. i binged watched this show after failing to get into game of thrones. i think i only finished season 1 and that was it.

this show still isn't my favorite, but the dialog is pretty solid and the dragons are cool to look at. and holy shit that one dragon bit the other dragon in half jfc

I've watched both. Loved Housed of the Dragon. Also loved SOME of Game of Thrones. I encourage you to check it out when you have the chance, but know that (in my opinion) when it's budget starts going up, the writing starts going down. Untapped potential can be a sad thing. But even in the worst of it, there are a couple of gems.

I strongly recommend watching the shows in tandem with AltShiftX videos; particularly if you're not reading the books. Adds a lot of nuance and context to the show + when the show falters, the book stuff can keep you engaged. But I understand if that's a lot to handle.

just finished season 4! the amount of characters that are dying off is insane, and i'm a little bit sad because everyone is telling me it's the best season

I'm not into fantasy and for years I ignored GoT, then binged watched it in a week, overall a good show and despite the hate I didn't hate the ending but it wasn't the best either.

House of the Dragon was also enjoyable and I'm looking forward to more, but it's not as good as the first few seasons of GoT.

we just to season 7 last night. it's so strange that there's so little main characters left.

Watched the second season of HotD. I'd say I enjoyed it less overall than the first season, but there were some small highlights I think made it worthwhile. Though, I might advise perhaps waiting for the 3rd season to come out. No rush to watch, imo.

i still got to get the motivation to watch season 2. I've been burning through some other HBO stuff like We Own This City, Eastbound and Down, and Generation Kill (which is awesome).
